Amy E. Denlinger, CPA, CVA, MT, a tax consulting manager, joined Schaffner, Knight, Minnaugh & Company, P.C. in 2003. She joined the firm with five years of "Big 4" experience and three years of private industry experience.

Amy's concentration is in income tax consulting, compliance, IRS examinations, PA sales tax, and business valuation. She builds strong relationships with her clients in order to ensure they receive the right services at the right time. Amy works with organizations within the manufacturing, service, tax-exempt, and wholesale distribution sectors.

After graduating from Villa Maria Academy, Amy earned her B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 1995. She earned her Masters degree in Taxation from Villanova University in 2001. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1997 and a Certified Valuation Analyst in 2006.

Amy is a member of the American Institute and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Amy volunteers her time to the Erie Philharmonic, where she is on the Board of Governors and also serves as a member of the finance committee. She is a past member of the United Way Young Leaders Club steering committee and past board president of the Contact Helpline in Harrisburg, PA.l
