Steven E. Ramsey, EA, a senior tax consultant, joined Schaffner, Knight, Minnaugh & Company, P.C. in 1999. Steve specializes in compliance work and supervision for individual and business entities. He focuses on client accounting and planning, tax research, and taxpayer representation.

After graduating from Strong Vincent High School in 1990, Steve earned his A.S. degree in Accounting from the Erie Business Center in 1992 and his B.S. degree in Accounting from Edinboro University in 2005.

Prior to joining the firm, Steve acquired six years of experience with a "Big 4" accounting firm. He is licensed by the Internal Revenue Service to provide tax services, including client representation. Steve earned the designation as an Enrolled Agent in 2001.

Steve is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Pennsylvania Society of Enrolled Agents. He is also an associate member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
